Philip rejoined the practice in 1977. He originally trained with Marks Bloom and on qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he moved to Price Waterhouse where he was promoted to tax manager. Philip spearheaded the Marks Bloom tax practice where he built a reputation as a promoter of innovative taxation planning schemes as well as developing the accountancy and audit departments. Following the 1986 Regulations, Philip established the insolvency department, which has helped to save and turnaround many struggling businesses.

In addition to his accountancy qualification, Philip is also a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

After working with a firm based in the City, Dave joined Marks Bloom in 1981 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser shortly afterwards.

Dave heads our taxation department and has his own portfolio of audit and accountancy clients.

Andy joined Marks Bloom from Ernst and Young. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with this international firm, specialising in audits.

Andy is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and heads our Insolvency department as well as acting for audit and accountancy clients.
